Engineer Interior Yacht Building (32 – 40 hours)

What you'll be doing?

As an Engineer Interieur Jachtbouw, you are jointly responsible for the design and technical detailing of the interiors of our luxury yachts. You will work closely with various disciplines within the company (Interior, Construction, Systems & Exterior), clients and subcontractors. Your duties will include:

• Collaborating within the project team to create aesthetic, high-quality and functional interiors.
• Developing client-focused layouts to suit their needs and requirements.
• Working out detailed interiors in 3D as work preparation for carpentry.
• Design and elaboration of specials, such as dashboards and customised solutions.
• Active collaboration with interior builders, providing technical input and monitoring progress.
• Ensuring aesthetic quality, good ergonomics and technical feasibility of interiors.
• Monitoring client requirements, budgets and deadlines.

What you'll be bringing along?

• A completed relevant technical education with a diploma at least at MBO level.
• A good working and thinking level, combined with a hands-on approach.
• xperience with 2D and 3D CAD software (Rhino).
• Several years of work experience.
• Experience with luxury yachts is a plus, but experience in, for example, stand construction or shop fitting is also conceivable.
• Good communication skills and a real team player.
